The Cape Peninsula, or Cape Point, situated on the South Westerly tip of Africa, has much to offer the day-tripper. Join our Cape Peninsula Tour for fabulous scenery at Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope via Chapman’s Peak drive, one of the most scenic drives in the world and offers a beautiful overview of the Peninsula. Visit one of only two land-based breeding colonies of African Penguins at Boulders beach and return back to Cape Town via the False Bay coastline. The whole route is incredibly picturesque travelling along the Atlantic Seaboard and the False Bay coastline.

Optional activities/alternatives are available such as Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, Seal Island with departures from Hout Bay or even helicopter tours of Cape Point.

08:30 Depart Cape Town accommodation.
Travel along the Atlantic Seaboard via Clifton, Camps Bay / Twelve Apostles and Llandudno.

08:45 Short stop at Maidens Cove, Camps Bay

09:30 Chapman’s Peak drive (if open) with a stop for a scenic view of Hout Bay.
Continue to travel along the Atlantic Seaboard via Noordhoek onto Cape Point.

10:30 Enter Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve

During Summer season tourists and locals enjoy the numerous blue flag beaches and great seafood restaurants. Between the months of June to November, Southern Right whales can be spotted along the coast between Cape Town and Hermanus, Hermanus being the best land based viewing point for whale watching.
